Our Projects
Main Project
The main project is collecting and delivering animal supplies and food to Ukraine. This activity is the main statutory mission of Paws of Peace. Organizations and individuals in Sweden deliver supplies and food directly to the Paws of Peace warehouse in Stockholm, or we visit them and pick up items ourselves. At the same time, people in Ukraine fill out applications via our website. Approved applications are turned into packed boxes and pallets with cargo, which are delivered to Ukraine to a Nova Poshta branch convenient for the driver, from where the packages are sent to recipients all over Ukraine.
Sterilization Projects
We support sterilization and vaccination projects for animals in Ukraine. Paws of Peace pays the cost of sterilization and vaccination of animals in Ukraine directly to the accounts of veterinary clinics involved in these projects. People who bring animals for sterilization do not pay anything. We have also carried out a similar project in Stockholm, Sweden — a project to vaccinate the pets of Ukrainian refugees.
Camouflage Net Weaving
We provide premises and materials to a volunteer group that weaves camouflage nets for our soldiers. This activity is additional and does not use donor funds or other Paws of Peace resources.
Supporting Orphanages
Sometimes we receive donations of children's toys and children's items. In such cases, the recipient of the shipment is an orphanage for children with mental disabilities in the Cherkasy region.
Support for Animal Rehabilitation Centers
We support animal rehabilitation centers in Ukraine.
