Who we are

Paws of Peace is a non-profit association (ideell förening) registered in Sweden, org nr 802545-0886. We are responsible for your personal data under the GDPR.

What we collect and why

• Contact by email or social media — your name, contact details and message, so we can reply.
• Aid requests — your name, contact details, location and information about your animals, so we can assess and deliver help.
• Volunteers and members — your name and contact details, to organise volunteering and keep our member register.
• Donations — your name, payment details and amount, for our accounting.
• Website visits — only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects usage data (pages viewed, device, browser, approximate location) to help us improve the site.

We process data based on our legitimate interest in running the association, your membership, our legal obligations (accounting), or your consent.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed: messages and aid requests up to 2 years after last contact, member data while you are a member, and accounting records for 7 years as required by the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (bokföringslagen).

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We use Google (forms and analytics) and payment services (Swish, banks, PayPal, Buy Me a Coffee), which may process data outside the EU/EEA under EU-approved safeguards.

Cookies

Our site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you click Accept. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, get a copy (data portability) and withdraw consent at any time. Email us at info@pawsofpeace.se.
